what lovely texture and colour, it will look lovely with the smooth white porcelain.

the nash programme was amazing, i could watch the programme over and over again, i loved the charred wood as well, it reminded me of the colours we are working with

i’ve had plants on my mind all week and have been reading Flora Celtica for background on the Bog Cotton and peat.  did you know that there were stories of women making shirts from the Bog Cotton!  I tried to make cordage using the feather tuffts and it just made me sneeze.  Do you know how it was used in fabric?

i thought you might like this picture of the willow den we planted eight years ago, we had fun planting it on a crisp february weekend, a real team effort by the whole family, great fun
